App: Prepza

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use Prepza ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") — an app that delivers interview preparation questions, including through push notifications. By using the App, you agree to the terms below.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child provided us with personal information without your consent, contact us using the details in Section 9 so we can address it.

01Information We Collect

The App does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email, or phone number. There is no sign-up or login of any kind.

Information you provide

  • Notification interactions: when you tap a question notification and choose an answer, we record your response and whether it was correct, so we can show accurate feedback and track local progress and streaks.
  • In-app activity: questions viewed, categories selected, and answers given inside the App.

Information collected automatically

  • Device information: device type, OS and version, device identifiers, language, and general region (derived from IP address).
  • Usage & diagnostic data: interactions, session length, crash logs, and performance data via analytics tools.
  • Advertising identifiers: our ad partners may collect an advertising ID or similar identifier to serve and measure ads.

Notification delivery

Push delivery relies on a device token issued by your OS (e.g., via Firebase Cloud Messaging or Apple Push Notification service). This token identifies your device for delivery only — it does not reveal your identity.

What we don't collect

We do not collect your name, government ID, precise GPS location, payment information, or contacts, unless a specific future feature explicitly requests and discloses this at the time of collection.

02How We Use Information

  • Deliver interview question notifications and process your in-notification answers
  • Show whether your answer was correct and track your personal progress
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the App's features and content
  • Diagnose technical issues and fix bugs
  • Measure App usage and performance
  • Display and measure advertisements (see Section 4)
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

We do not sell your personal information.

03Children's Privacy (COPPA & Google Play Families)

The App may be used by children under 13. Where it is directed at or likely to be used by children, we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families Policy as follows:

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information (name, email, precise location) from children under 13.
  • Ads shown to known or presumed child users are limited to non-personalized, contextual advertising only — no behavioral or interest-based targeting, and no cross-app/cross-device tracking for these users where technically supported.
  • Third-party SDKs are limited to providers supporting restricted/child-safe modes, and are not permitted to collect persistent identifiers from children beyond what's needed for internal App operation (e.g., frequency capping, fraud prevention).
  • Because no account is required, no persistent personal profile is created for any user, including children.

Parents/guardians may contact us to review, request deletion of, or object to further collection of a child's information — see Section 9.

Developer note: if ads are enabled via AdMob or a similar network, mark the relevant ad units for child-directed treatment and disable personalized ads for under-13 users, per COPPA and Google Play Families Policy. Have this policy and your SDK configuration reviewed by legal counsel before publishing.

04Advertising & Analytics Partners

We use third-party services to show ads and understand usage. These providers may collect the information described in Section 1 under their own privacy policies:

  • Analytics — e.g., Google Analytics for Firebase / Firebase Crashlytics: usage, device, and diagnostic data.
  • Advertising — e.g., Google AdMob: advertising identifiers and contextual signals to serve and measure ads.

[List the specific SDKs/networks you actually integrate] and link to each provider's policy:

You can often limit ad personalization in your device settings (e.g., "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android, or Limit Ad Tracking / App Tracking Transparency on iOS).

05Notification Permissions

The App's core feature delivers interview questions via push notifications, which requires OS-level notification permission. You can disable notifications anytime in device or App settings; this stops notification-based questions but does not delete previously collected progress data.

06Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only:

  • With analytics/advertising partners (Section 4), strictly to provide their services to us
  • If required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect rights, property, or safety
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections

07Data Retention & Security

We retain usage and progress data only as long as necessary for the purposes described here, or as required by law. Local progress (like answer streaks) may live on your device and can be cleared by clearing App data or uninstalling.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

08Your Choices & Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete information tied to your device, and to object to or restrict certain processing (like ad personalization). Since no account is required, most data is tied to your device rather than a lookup-able identity.

  • Disable notifications in device or App settings
  • Opt out of ad personalization in device settings
  • Clear App data or uninstall to remove locally stored progress
  • Contact us (Section 9) with any request

Users in the EEA, UK, or similar jurisdictions (GDPR/UK GDPR), or U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA), may have additional rights, including lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority.

10Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, features, or legal requirements. We'll update this policy when changes are made, and provide additional notice for material changes where required. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.

This document is a general template and does not constitute legal advice. Because this App may be used by children and integrates advertising/analytics SDKs, have this policy and your actual SDK/ad configuration reviewed by a qualified privacy attorney before publishing, to ensure compliance with COPPA, Google Play's Families Policy, GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable laws.
